Dhoop Chhaon is a small roof top studio hidden in Bangalore's urban jungle. The name captures a feeling of dappled sunlight - light and shadow, a vernacular voice, something that eludes clear categories or labels...

Feeling liberated from disciplinary boundaries, I slide freely between the technological and the hand-made, bringing them into dialogue with each other. This has given me the flexibility and opportunity to work with various people, issues and organizations - to share their work, research and stories with the public in creative, evocative and thought-provoking ways.

I like to bring a loving and introspective gaze to my subjects, in a spirit of engagement and humility.
